Educational Self Reliance Groups
These groups typically consist of 8-12 people who meet for 2 hours once per week for 10-12 weeks. Each group has a facilitator who does not lecture or teach but simply encourages everyone to work their way through a professionally prepared workbook together. All sessions are held virtually during Covid and may be held virtually or in person when health and safety protocols permit. There is no fee for participation.
These groups are sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. While the importance of the spiritual component of life is acknowledged, the groups are practical and focused and both open and welcoming to all, regardless of belief.

Education for Better Work
For anyone who needs education or training to get a better job or start a new career, who needs help figuring out how to pay for school, who wants to succeed in school, and who wants to learn about educational opportunities.

Life Skills for Self Reliance
Older teens and young adults learn to research career and education opportunities, find and obtain employment, and learn to manage their money.
